Lesson 1: Kidblog
In this Learning Module learners will explore the online application Kidblog
Introduction:
I'm sure you have all heard the word BLOG...... Here is a little history about blogging. Blog is short for "web log". A blog allows students and teachers to communicate online using a computer, tablet, or smartphone (Kidblog has an app :). Blogs are usually displayed in reverse chronological order. We first heard the term blogs in the late 1990's along with other web publishing tools. Until 2009, most blogs were the work of one individual but as time passed many blogs became projects that many individuals collaborated on to express views and provide information. Today we often see blogs that have multi-authors and cover a wide range of subjects. Twitter has given bloggers an outlet to integrate into social media area. A blog is like having a journal except you are writing it on the World Wide Web.
Now that you have a little background about blogging let's complete our learning activities.

1. View the tutorial below to learn how to create your avatar. After you create your avatar you will then view the Kidblog tutorial video.
